Professional Journey Highlights:
► I have held senior roles at AWS, Verizon, QTS, and Red Hat and provided in-depth expertise in cloud systems, processes, and management tools.
► Many years though much trial and tribulation building custom rural wireless networks based on 5/11/24/60GHz, CBRS and fiber technologies. I have build many small to large Mimosa, Mikrotik, Ubnt, Cabium and Ignite bases wirless networks.
► Routing and switching is part of my daily activities (OSPF, IPv6, BGP, etc). I love routing and switching!
► Extensive experience working with high speed and heavily optimized edge technologies (SFF, OpenRAN, SDN, NFV, VPP, DPDK, SR-IOV, etc).
► I am currently focused on automating datacenter operations. Our DCIM automation suite, in collaboration with names like Google and Major League Baseball, pioneers the automation of diverse datacenter assets using the DMTF Redfish standard.
► In addition to extensive experience in almost every private sector, I have also worked in the public sectoe with the Army, Navy, Airforce ACC, and MSC. Accomplished in FedRAMP, STIG, POAM, and ATO processes. I have written many remediation scripts and programs to fix common security issues found during STIG's.
► I have several notable contributions at Verizon that include the introduction of Secure Cloud Interconnect (SCI), a widely adopted API-driven MPLS-based hybrid cloud connection.
► As Director of IT at Carson Tahoe Regional Healthcare System, I delved into healthcare technologies, including HMR, CPOE, PACS, and complex billing systems. I built out numerous HIPAA-compliant infrastructure and cloud footprints.
► I have rolled out large scale hospitality systems, point-of-sale and timeshare management software systems for many many resort networks.
